GH DLC: Megadeth Track Pack

by Dan on August 24, 2010

You know Megadeth is contributing fresh tracks to Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, right? Well, that’s not out for a few more weeks, so here’s your warmup: Today brings a three-pack of the band’s best known songs: “Symphony of Destruction,” “Peace Sells,” and “Hangar 18.”

Yes: “Hangar 18.” I feel this is of special note because it’s the song that completely kicked my ass back in Guitar Hero II, and now I get a second shot at revenge. I also get it with the master tracks, which is a nice bonus. I am rested and ready. Bring it, Mustaine.

The pack will be available today for 440 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, 550 Wii Points on Wii, or $5.49 US Treasury points on PS3. If you don’t want the full track pack, songs are available individually for 160 MS Points, 200 Wii Points, or $1.99 respectively. See your local console for the digital store of your choice, but if you’re an Xbox 360 owner, it’s here and if you play on PS3, check here.

Rock, as always, on.

I just saw Megadeth in concert this past Friday, which confirmed that, yes, Dave Mustaine is good at guitar.
